The Nantucket Boys & Girls Club is seeking an Athletic Assistant to add to our team. Under the supervision of the Athletic Director, the Athletic Assistant will help to ensure that all organized athletics including- football, cheerleading, field hockey, basketball, boxing, golf, and lacrosse maintain the integrity and mission of the Nantucket Boys & Girls Club. Key roles of this position include, but are not limited to, promoting interest and participation in physical education activities, officiating football and basketball games, teaching proper attitudes and behaviors such as honesty, fair play and sportsmanship to all members. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelors Degree in Sport Management or similar field; have a strong knowledge of football and basketball rules and regulations and strong knowledge of youth development.
