Under the general supervision of the Branch Manager, the Assistant Branch Manager will assist the Branch Manager in carrying out a broad range of branch duties and responsibilities including maximizing branch sales, customer satisfaction, branch staffing, operational proficiency, and minimizing operating losses. The Assistant Branch Manager provides his/her direct reports with sales leadership and executes the implementation of targeted processes. He/she also disciplines in support of a strong sales culture and achieving consistently superior customer service experiences for the Customer Service staff. He/she will act as a role model in all facets of sales and service excellence while developing and mentoring his/her direct reports for sales, service and operational proficiency through effective and consistent coaching efforts. The Assistant Branch Manager will also conduct performance reviews for member of their staff.
For consideration the ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Three years of sales and service experience in banking or other retail environment. Strong time management, organizational skills, written and oral communications skills are necessary. Ability to make independent decisions and sound judgment. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook for PC and Internet.
