Love history? Enjoy sharing Nantucket stories with a live audience? Strive to make customer service a priority in all that you do? The Nantucket Historical Association wants to meet you!
We are currently filling part-time positions at the Whaling Museum and historic sites for tour guides and program leaders. These “Interpreter” positions are key to the daily operations and programs and are at the heart of our visitor experience. These exciting positions are perfect for dynamic and passionate people who enjoy communicating with and listening to diverse groups of Nantucket residents and visitors in groups of all sizes.
All applicants must love working with the public and possess strong diplomacy, organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Shifts may include weekends, evenings, and holidays. Limited winter shifts and training available immediately, with additional hours available in the spring and summer.
