Dreamland Director of Operations
This full time, year round position is responsible for movie scheduling, front of house staff management(FOH), ticketing and reporting, as well as overall plant and building management. The Director of Operations (DO) reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for creating and revising existing informational and operational systems relating to box office, concessions, movie scheduling and distributor reporting.
The DO will oversee all hiring and management of FOH staff, as well as creating the weekly FOH staff schedule. The DO will work to meet budget goals and increase FOH revenue, as well as maintain the building and ensure customer satisfaction and that operational and safety protocols are consistently met.
Scope of Position
Manager of Front of House staff, concession/box office, create movie schedules with distributors that respond to local tastes, responsible for ticketing and reporting, and overall management of the building and physical plant.
Some after hours, weekends and holidays are required in this position, as well as the ability to stand for sometimes long periods of time and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
