RJ Miller Salon & Spa is looking to hire a year round Assistant Manager to join our team. We are a professional, fast-paced salon and need someone to come on board with a creative and energetic personality who demonstrates exceptional customer service and strong leadership skills.
Principle Responsibilities Include:
• Maintaining smooth and consistent salon operations on a day to day basis.
• Supporting Salon Manager in maintaining retail and back bar inventory.
• Maintaining positive communication and flow between the stylists, front desk, and assistants.
• Conducting front desk procedures that include answering phones, correctly scheduling appointments, and balancing of cash drawer.
• Taking on responsibility for all Salon employees and procedures when Salon Manager is not present.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Salon Manager.
Qualifications:
• Experience with customer service and ability to problem solve on the spot.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership skills to inspire and motivate staff
• Strong organizational and follow up skills
• Ability to take initiative and be attentive to surroundings
• Ability to be flexible, reliable, and available to work various schedules including extended hours if needed.
• Must have proficient computer skills
• Salon experience a plus but not required
