Therapeutic Mentor
Justice Resource Institute is currently seeking a Fee for Service, Therapeutic Mentor, for our Community Based Service program, located on Nantucket. The TM works closely with families whose children are presenting with difficult and challenging behaviors, at home, in school and/or in the community. These positions work closely with parent(s) to model and support response techniques as well as collect data through observation studies in the home. Phone contact and consultation may be provided as part of the intervention. Job-seeker must be willing to maintain a flexible work schedule.
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in a human services field from an accredited university and one (1) year of direct relevant experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs,
OR
(2) An associate’s degree and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant direct service experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs.
