Wicked Island Bakery is hiring year-round positions for both the front-of-house and the back-of house! We are currently looking for a full-time baker, counter staff (full-time or part-time), and a weekend dishwasher/prep/cleaner (flexible position). Please see the details for each position below:
FULL-TIME BAKER: We are looking for a creative and motivated early-riser to join our core team of baking staff. Ideal candidate has experience in from-scratch pastry work, although the right candidate could be taught. Work will involve everything from prep-work to baking our various products. Fast-paced environment, always fun and always interesting – the day flies by! Shift starts at 4am. Serious inquiries for full-time, year-round only.
COUNTER STAFF (full- or part-time): We are looking for another counter staff member to join our core team! Full-time, year-round position, part-time for the right candidate– must be available on weekends and some holidays (non-negotiable). Be ready to join our fast-paced team, as our from-scratch bakery is busy all year – there’s always something to do, and the day flies by! Some shifts start as early as 5am, and some end as late as 4:00pm or 5:00pm. If you’re social and love our Nantucket natives and its visitors, this is the perfect job for you!
PREP/LIGHT DISH/CLEANING (part-time): This position is very flexible – we are looking for someone to help clean in the afternoon (start time flexible), and someone who is available in the mornings for help with prep work and possibly light dishwashing. Weekends a must. Perfect if you’re looking to supplement your current job!
