Assistant Front Office Manager

Nantucket Island Resorts is currently accepting applications for the seasonal position of Assistant Front Office Manager at the White Elephant Hotel. This position starts in April and runs until the beginning of December.

The Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the Front Office, Bell Services and Concierge staff in an attentive and courteous manner, providing all guests with a high level of quality service while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within an upscale hotel environment.

Other important aspects of this position include the ability to:
* Promote the professional growth and development of the entire Front Office and Housekeeping teams
* Foster strong inter-departmental relations and integrate the team with other operational departments
* Maintain positive guest relations at all times
* Schedule and facilitate regular departmental training
* Be aware of all Hotel services/features

Applicants should also work well under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, be organized, flexible and self-motivated.
