NiSHA is looking for a mature and responsible student interested in education and animals to assist with several summer Humane Education activities at Nantucket Safe Harbor for Animals, including Humane Education in Art, Read to Meow, our mentorship program, and others. The intern works with our Humane Educator and an established curriculum both at the shelter and at community locations. Must love working with youth and animals. We anticipate the work will be about 5-10 hours per week starting in late June. This is an un-paid internship that will provide experience, resume material, community service credit and the satisfaction that comes with doing great work for a good cause.
