Nantucket Island Resorts, a collection of premier hotels is currently looking for a motivated, hands-on individual to oversee the daily operations of the front office for our Relais & Chateaux property, The Wauwinet Inn.
The Front Office Manager is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the Front Office, Bell Services and Drivers, Concierge, Retail and Beach staff in an attentive, efficient and courteous manner, providing all guests with quality service while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. In addition to front office responsibilities.
Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a resort style hotel.
Other important aspects of this position include the ability to:
* Promote the professional growth and development of the entire Front Office team
* Foster strong inter-departmental relations and integrate the team with other operational departments
* Maintain positive guest relations at all times
* Schedule and facilitate regular departmental training
* Be aware of all Hotel services/features
Applicants should also work well under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, be organized, flexible and self-motivated. Experience with computers and Microsoft Office essential.
