Seeking candidate for Pharmacy Technician
Island Pharmacy – 122 Pleasant St – Nantucket, MA
Potential for Full-time.
Experience preferred, however will train an exceptional candidate.
Bi-lingual preferred (English and Spanish).
Able to pass a Medicare background check.
Position requires ability to stand for up to 12 hours a day.
Must be able to carry loads of 50 pounds or greater.
National Pharmacy Technician Certificate (CPhT) must be obtained within 1 year.

Pharmacy technicians work under a licensed Pharmacist to perform a variety of tasks. Pharmacy techs often are responsible for counting, labeling, and mixing medication. They also work with insurance companies, run the register and provide customer service. While there are State regulations regarding training for pharmacy technicians, we provide on-the-job training.
