Year-round or summer housing offered in private 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house in exchange for 30 hours of work a week (total for 2 people) from June 1st through September 30th. The hiring couple are empty nesters in their 70s. The house offered is a separate dwelling on the property of the hiring couple with plenty of privacy.
This would be a perfect position for a couple without children or empty nesters. Candidates would need to stay on island at the house offered from June 1st through September 30th. Preference given to year-round residents and those with medical backgrounds but open to summer workers.
Ideal candidates would be able to complete the following tasks:
House management
Open and close house at the beginning and end of season
Monthly caretaking responsibilities on the off season including pest management and security
Arranging appointments for personal needs
Regular handyman task
Scheduling home maintenance and repair work, and supervising projects
Managing smaller technology needs
Running errands and performing necessary tasks
Supervision of other household staff where necessary
Shopping for food, supplies, and other requested items
House cleaning duties
Laundering and putting away clothing, or changing linens
Cooking meals for the couple (2-3 a week, simple lunches or dinners)
Light gardening
About 50% of the work would be performed when the employers are out of the house or off the property.
