Nantucket Looms is looking for a full-time, experienced Finance Manager to oversee our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as strong communication skills. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker with demonstrated proficiency in Quickbooks and Excel. Minimum of five years’ of bookkeeping experience is required, ideally with a solid understanding of inventory. Full Benefits Offered.
Responsibilities include:
• Accounts Payable in Quickbooks
• Daily Sales & Weekly Payroll entries
• Employee Benefits (401K; HSA; DCA; Life Insurance)
• Monthly reconciliations of bank and credit card
accounts
• Reconciliation of Inventory with POS system,
coordinating with Store Manager
• Cash Flow
• Maintain accurate records of expenses by class for
multiple divisions of the company
Additional Responsibilities:
• Accounts Payable in Design Manager software
• Monthly consolidation of Design and Quickbooks accounts
• Financial reporting for management team and board
meetings
• Annual Budget preparation
• Coordination of annual physical inventory with Store
