The Nantucket Learning Group is Nantucket’s premier educational services provider. We serve the Island community during summer months with academic programs ranging from Pre-K instruction to SAT prep. We are a small team of highly motivated educators who take great pride in helping students develop an educational foundation upon which they can build in the fall.
Position:
We are currently seeking to add a talented, energetic Elementary Instructor to our team. This will be a summer position late June or early July and concluding at the end of August.
• The Elementary Instructor will provide students with one-on-one support in reading,
writing, spelling, and mathematics. Standardized test preparation, including lower level ISEE
and SSAT, may also be a focus.
• Our teachers have a large degree of flexibility and independence in developing lessons. We take great pride in assembling a passionate team of educators who can provide a valuable service to the island communities each summer.
• Above all, we are looking for energetic and outgoing teachers who are eager to work with students in a one-on-one capacity.
