As the Shop Manager, you are the face of Crane & Lion as it opens its doors to Nantucket for the first time. You are excited to provide our guests with a unique shopping experience by speaking passionately about who we are and the design story behind our products. You inspire your shop associates to provide a consistent and contagiously special experience.

As the Shop Manager, you will:
Cultivate a unique shop experience and effectively represent the Crane & Lion brand at all times
Possess exemplary customer service skills; capable of handling difficult customer facing conversations and interactions
Manage social media pages for the ACK store (in accordance with our Brand), announcing events/trunk shows that encourage traffic to our space
Communicate product features, benefits, usage, and best care instructions
Maintain shop appearance, keeping merchandise stocked and organized; knowledge of in-shop stock availability on the sales floor and in backrooms
Receive and processes inventory shipments: unpack, count, fold, size, steam, and place on the floor, with overflow stock in the backroom
Prepare merchandise for tailoring/alteration by completing necessary documentation
Arrange for mail and/or delivery, as required, to other locations and/or warehouse, and/or special orders
Completes opening and closing protocol; analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, tracking retail sales trends
Use our Point of Sale system to processes payments, refunds, exchanges, issues gift cards, and capture Customer information
Work weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events; participate in staff training and shop events as scheduled, April – October
Hire, train, schedule, manage seasonal Shop Associates; exemplify and enforce all employee rules and regulations
Receive and communicate feedback; provide incentive and growth opportunities to ensure retention of your quality Shop Associates

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
