NRO (North River Outfitter) is searching for an experienced and reliable full-time store manager for our NRO location on Nantucket.
NRO is a specialty retailer of women’s and men’s high end sportswear and accessories. We have 9 store locations in MA and carry brands such as: Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Saint James, DVF, Marc Jacobs, White + Warren, Barbour, Peter Millar, Johnnie-O, Duckhead, Helly Hansen, Patagonia, The North Face, Rainbow Sandals, Sperry, Ray Ban and S’well bottle to just name a few.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
– Must have a proven track record of being a reliable and trustworthy employee
– Must be able to multi-task efficiently in a fast paced environment
– Manage day to day operations of the store including overseeing a team of up to 6 employees
– Manage store payroll as well as the store staffing schedule
– Oversee store inventory and track overall sales as well as individual vendor sell-thru
– Run sales reports for buyers and assist in re-ordering product
– Take ownership of all store promotional events and social media initiatives including clientelling
– Proficiency with computers and with Microsoft office products
– Position reports directly to the General Manager
– Must be available from early May through October 2016 and a longer timeframe is possible through Christmas
