Reservations Manager

Nantucket Island Resorts is currently looking for a Reservations Manager. This position is responsible for the overall day to day operations of the reservations and pre-arrival offices. The right candidate will ensure the highest standards of quality for both the guests and employees and should have a high level of multi-tasking skills and be very flexible under high stress.

Must have a minimum of 2-5 years of management or supervisor experience and 3+ years hotel experience.

Other important aspects of this position include the ability to:
• Oversee reservations and yield management
• Promote the professional growth and development of both the reservations and pre-arrival office
• Foster strong inter-departmental relations and integrate the team with other operational departments
• Ensure that the Reservation lines are attended at all times during scheduled hours and that sufficient staffing is present to meet the daily business demands.

Applicants should also work well under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, be very organized, self-motivated, and have a great sense of humor. Experience with computers, Excel and Microsoft Office essential.
